INSTRUCTOR
Shannon Malkin Daniels
Shannon Malkin Daniels is a TEDx speaker, author, professional storyteller, and authentic communication expert. Through her speaking, training and facilitation, she helps leaders across industries build confidence and connection by communicating from who they are, not who they think they’re supposed to be. She firmly believes every person has a story to tell and a message the world needs to hear, yet too many hold back, either out of fear or because they struggle to shape their ideas into a clear, compelling message. Shannon helps people overcome this by showing them how to refine their message and delivery in a way that strengthens trust, deepens relationships, and leads to more meaningful impact, without losing themselves in the process. Shannon holds a master’s degree in interpersonal communication from the University of Central Florida and has taught communication courses at Columbia University and Iona University. Her book, Water Yourself: A Practical Guide to Weed Out the Bad, Get More Good & Live Your Dreams, has reached readers in ten countries. When she’s not speaking or working with clients, you can find Shannon hiking, making jewelry, reading, or soaking up the sun at the beach with her husband, Matt, and their French Bulldog, Rover.
