When I founded SPEAC SuccessTM nearly a decade ago, I had a bigger vision than solely teaching public speaking and communication skills. I was on a mission to teach people how to connect in a meaningful way.
SPEAC is so much more than a name. It’s a framework for successful human communication:
Strategize
Prepare
Elevate
Articulate
Connect
Originally, the “E” in SPEAC stood for Educate. But I eventually replaced it with Elevate.
Why? Because we don’t just speak to educate. We speak to inspire, persuade, entertain and move, and that takes elevating your message, story, voice and presence.
Something I was crystal clear on from day 1 was that Connect had to be the final step, because connection is the goal of any human interaction.
SPEAC became the foundation for building and testing a framework that would support my clients through every stage of communication.
And over the years, the SPEAC FrameworkTM has evolved through real conversations and real work with hundreds of real people.
As I worked with clients, I paid attention to what clicked vs. what caused confusion. Where people got stuck vs. broke through. And I adapted the Framework based on what I saw and heard.
When resistance faded and someone had an “a-ha!” moment, I knew I had landed on something that worked.
That’s how the SPEAC FrameworkTM became what it is today.
Tested.
Adapted.
Proven.
Not in theory, but in practice. And I’ve witnessed the results first hand.
